David’s experience

David comes from a strong trade background with over 41 years of experience in the construction industry. He has had various roles during his working life including:

Site manager

If you are looking for someone who can deal with any issues that may come up, then David is the person who can help. He has been a site manager for many years, working on a wide variety of projects. He has proved himself in site management working on various refurbishment and new build projects.

Carpentry / Joinery

David started out as a joinery apprentice and went on to learn the trade of a carpenter. All of his working life he has used these skills and worked on and maintained a wide variety of properties in the south.

Renovations and Refurbishment

Over the past 40 years, David has worked on and maintained many buildings including Listed Properties, so he knows the amount of work that goes into looking after a historical building.

Properties

David has worked on many different types of building contracts including housing, hospitals, schools, hotels, banks, shopping malls and private estates and dwellings. He was the No1 Site Manager, with projects ranging up to £7.5m in value.

Skills

He has excellent organisational and communication skills.

His abilities in client liaison, man-management, overall programming of projects, material procurement and call off, as well as dealing with all professional bodies such as architects, engineers, building control and other agencies have led to the management of some very difficult and complex projects. These projects were all completed to the satisfaction of all concerned, with bonuses being paid in for completion ahead of schedule.
